Inside You'll Discover

Why "stuck" is the wrong word.

You don't lack options, you're protecting a version of stability you never questioned, and that protection is what feels like being trapped.

The Stability Illusion.

The belief that changing anything means losing everything you've built. Chapter 3 of the book dismantles it and shows you what's actually still yours to choose.

The Decision Path Method.

Five stages that move you from confusion to a decision you can stand behind, built around one tool, the Decision Trace, that makes the structure of your past decisions visible so you can build the next one on purpose.

You built a life that looks like success and feels like a cage.

What if you're not stuck, you're standing at a decision you haven't named yet?

Decision Point gives you a clear way to see that decision, and an honest way to make it. Tell us where to send your link, paperback, Kindle, or audiobook, your call once you're there.

SCHEDULED: JULY 29

This book is for the leader whose life looks fine from the outside. The calendar's full, the team respects you, the numbers are good, and something underneath still doesn't fit.

Decision Point doesn't tell you to quit or push through, it gives you a way to see the decision you've been standing in front of, clearly enough to finally choose.

What readers and reviewers are saying

“Plenty of books tell you to make a change. This one shows you how to see the decision clearly first, which is incredibly valuable. The Decision Trace alone - mapping how you got here, choice by choice - is worth the read.”

Julie Chenell · Author of Million Dollar Grit

“Honest, accessible, and deeply practical, Decision Point is an invaluable guide for anyone seeking to make life’s most significant decisions with integrity, purpose, and confidence.”

Laura O’Hara, PhD · Professor of Communication Studies, Ball State University

“It is a reference guide that belongs within arm’s reach of every leader’s library.”

Dr. Terrance A. Bridges, Sr. · Educational Consultant

“The framework gives readers language for feelings they have struggled to explain. Each chapter builds on the last, making the book easy to follow and easy to return to after a pause.”

Meet Micah

Micah Maxwell writes about leadership, decisions, and what happens when the structures that built us no longer fit. He advises leaders on strategic communication and the consequential decisions that shape what comes next, drawing on three decades of work in environments where the cost of getting it wrong is high. He is the founder of DiamondCrest International, which supports mission-driven leaders and ventures including StratComm AI. His practice spans strategic communication, public affairs, and organizational development across the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. The throughline is values-based leadership: clarity, mentorship, and the discipline of leading well when the path is not obvious. Decision Point is his first book. Find him at micahmaxwell.com.
